Steve Jobs had an all-glass vision for an iPhone product. In the quest for technological perfection, Apple Inc.’s industrial design team has meticulously honored the genesis of the idea. The Cupertino-based tech company’s ambitious plans for the upcoming futuristic device has fed an abundance of rumors hinting at impressive features even before the actual Apple iPhone 8 release date. But we’re going not going to talk about rumors. Instead, we’ll focus on what is a sure thing in the upcoming Apple device.
The Apple iPhone 8 will have an all-glass body, quite possibly a curved-glass body, made from a material more powerful than Android’s Gorilla Glass.
The device will flaunt a flexible OLED display rather than an LCD. This way, it will be thinner and will consume far less battery, and offer better display along with higher contrast ratio.
It will have biometric additions such as facial and iris scanning. It is expected to be embedded with a 10nanometer A11 chip that will be faster and far more efficient that any of the models in the market today.
The most fascinating feature of all is the long-range wireless charging. In recent months, Apple has been hiring engineers with expertise in wireless charging. Among other Apple iPhone 8 specs that we know of are, advanced biometric features such as facial recognition or iris scanning and Haptic feedback for Touch ID payment.
