At the much-gratifying September 2023 event, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max were unveiled alongside the inaugural lineup of Apple’s carbon-neutral products. The all-new Apple Watch lineup has been dramatically showcased to have reduced nearly 75 percent of product emissions. The tech giant marked a tremendous step towards its commitment to the ‘Apple 2030 goal’ to make all its products and its global supply chain carbon-neutral by the end of the decade.

However, it’s essential to view this development in the context of Apple’s overall environmental impact, rather than focusing solely on individual products.

Is Apple Actually Carbon Neutral?

Apple has announced some of its products, specifically certain combinations of cases and bands for Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch SE, will be carbon neutral. Apple enthusiasts can identify these products by a new logo on the packaging.

“This is no time for changes at the margins. Together, we can transition to a carbon neutral economy and usher in a new era of inclusive opportunity.”

– Tim Cook, Apple CEO

Apple’s carbon-neutral initiative extends to ‘select’ combinations for certain Apple Watch models. Notably, the company also intends to discontinue the sale of leather accessories including watch bands and phone cases, to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. So does that make Apple 100 percent green? Not quite yet.

What is Apple’s Carbon Footprint?

The positive news is that Apple’s gross carbon emissions are decreasing, as indicated in its latest environmental progress report. In 2022, Apple’s carbon footprint was equivalent to 20.6 million metric tons of carbon dioxide in contrast to generating about 22.6 million metric tons of CO2e in 2020.

While it may seem tempting to celebrate a particular product’s sustainability claims, it should not act like an obiter dictum and cloak Apple’s broader environmental objectives. Albeit Apple’s carbon-neutral goal by 2030 seems ambitious, it is itself a benchmark for which the tech giant must be held accountable.

How Is The Apple Watch Carbon Neutral?

Apple won this carbon neutrality objective for the Apple Watch by reducing emissions across various production stages, including materials, electricity usage, and transportation. Much of this reduction came from persuading more suppliers to transition to 100 percent clean energy sources.

Apple has taken strides to become more environmentally friendly by working towards carbon neutrality by 2030. The iPhone 15 maker pledges to match customers’ expected electricity consumption when charging the carbon-neutral Apple Watch models by investing in renewable energy projects. Any remaining emissions were offset through nature-based projects, such as reforestation efforts aimed at capturing carbon dioxide.

In a further eco-conscious move, Apple is replacing leather with a sustainable material called FineWoven. Comprising nearly 70% post-consumer recycled content, FineWoven not only offers durability but also significantly lower carbon emissions compared to leather.

The apparent sustainability of an individual product doesn’t necessarily reflect the company’s overall progress toward its climate goals. Apple may succeed in making a single product like the Apple Watch less carbon-intensive, but if the sales of the same product increase substantially, it could end up emitting as much or even more greenhouse gases (GHG) than before. The growing risks of e-waste also need to be tackled. Apple directed more than 38,000 tonnes of e-waste globally, to recycling in 2021. Maybe the new USB-C charging design will be a safe bet for the tech giant in reducing this figure.

So will the Apple Watch prove to be a driving force towards Apple’s carbon-neutral promises or is it just a smokescreen from the bigger picture?

Anthem, the second-largest insurer in the U.S., has teamed up with Apple and other such tech device manufacturing companies to study the use of tech tools for managing chronic conditions like asthma.

The insurer has appointed U.C .Irvine and the health-tech company CareEvolution to carry out the study, all to be done visually so as to not endanger the participants in these contagion times.

About 1.8 million people end up in emergency rooms from asthma each year in the US. 1 in 14 people overall have the condition. The study will be conducted over a two-year period and will collect data from Apple Watch and iPhone to predict potentially serious outcomes, leading to hospitalization.

Anthem has become involved in the project as asthma forms a big part of its health costs. The insure intends to recruit a diverse study population, especially the lower income group.Apple watch Series 6 for Asthama

“We know individuals enrolled in Medicaid disproportionately bear the burden of asthma, often resulting in relying on the healthcare system more,” noted Warris Bokhari, Vice President of Digital Care Delivery. “Having this makeup of study population will help us ensure our outcomes are representative.”

“As part of our mission of improving people’s lives, we are making it easier for consumers to proactively manage their health through our digital-first approach to delivering healthcare solutions and services,” said Rajeev Ronanki, Chief Digital Officer at Anthem, Inc. “Millions of Americans are struggling with their asthma condition each day and we’re thrilled to collaborate with UCI, Apple and CareEvolution on studying new solutions.”

In 2019, Apple acquired Tueo Health, a startup involved in monitoring asthma detection in children. The company’s co-founder Bronwyn Harris still works at Apple Health, although Apple has not specified if there’s a link between the two projects.

The Anthem health study though will be concentrating on adults for the moment.

The cohort number will be 900 asthma patients between the ages of 18 and 64. Participants will need to be a member of a health plan run by Anthem or one of its affiliates and must have their own iPhone.

The study participants will be divided into two groups, a study group and a control gorup. The study group will be given an Apple Watch and a Beddit sleep monitor. The control group will not get any devices. (The study is designed as a randomized control trial, which aims to reduce bias when testing the effectiveness of a treatment or intervention.)

The active group will be constantly monitored on its symptoms by the digital asthma tool that includes daily symptom and trigger tracking to provide awareness of asthma control and personalized nudges based on changes in signals from their Apple Watch including activity, heart rate, the new Blood Oxygen feature and other health metrics, says the press statement.

The control group will continue with its normal asthma regime but will be asked to fill in regular surveys.

“Personalized medicine and improving the health of populations are based on similar principles. The human body contains critical information – data – necessary to diagnose and treat our patients,” said Dr. Steve Goldstein, vice chancellor for health affairs at UCI. “Through innovation and emerging technologies, we are able to harness that data, and by coupling it with an individual’s environment and experiences, chart pathways to lifelong health and well-being. Public-private collaborations like this one with UCI, Anthem and Apple, are fueled by the passion to serve and shared an entrepreneurial spirit, and are helping us establish new standards of whole-person care for our patients.”

Apple has lined up some other medical partnerships, including with the University Health Network and the University of Toronto in Canada to follow how Apple Watch metrics, can be used to manage heart failure.

Apple is also involved with the Seattle Flu Study and faculty at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine to track changes in blood oxygen and heart rate to forestall the onset of influenza and COVID-19.

Apple is also partnering with the government of Singapore on the health initiative LumiHealth, which will encourage healthy lifestyle changes through technology.

Apple has announced 0% interest financing for the Mac lineup, iPad, AirPods Pro, AirPods, Apple Pencil, and more.

Apple already offered a similar facility for the purchase of the iPhone for Apple Card users in December. This extension of the offer to related products of the company was indicated by Tim Cook in an investors’ call when Apple announced its latest quarter results.

The financing options vary according to the product. The heavier priced items like iPad Pro and Macs come with a 12-month interest fee option and smaller items like AirPods can be paid back in six equal monthly installments, obviously interest-free. The AirPods now can be bought at a payment of $41.50 per month and AirPods with wireless charging will cost you around $33. A 16-inch MacBook Pro will come at a monthly cost of $199.99 for 12 installments. Apple is in planning to launch more new phones and designs to compete with other competitors. It will be coming to the market with New iPad Air with A14 Bionic Chipset by mid Septermber, 2020.

All-New iPad Air Design in Five Lovely Finishes

The new iPad Air features a fully new thin and light design in five stunning finishes: silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue. The novel all-screen design features a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display for a conspicuous visual experience, with 3.8 million pixels and progressive technologies, including full lamination, P3 wide color support, True Tone, and an anti-reflective coating for an beyond belief visual experience.

To consensus the exhibition to stretch on all sides, a next-generation Touch ID sensor is incorporated into the top button, providing the comparable fast, easy, and secure way to unlock iPad Air, log in to apps, or use Apple Pay that customers know and affection.

iPad Air is familiar with Magic Keyboard and its separated design, and built-in trackpad, Smart Keyboard Folio, and new Smart Folio covers, as well as Apple Pencil, which attaches adorably to the side for laidback pairing, charging, and storing.

Apple unveils new iPad Air with A14 Bionic chipset, refreshes entry-level iPad too

Today Apple took the wraps off its modern iPad tablets. We have a brand new iPad Air as well as a predictable boost for the entry level iPad.

iPad Air with A14 Bionic Chipset

Let’s start with the new iPad Air. It has a transformed design, which is manifestly inspired by the iPad Pro line. The screen bezels are smaller, the port is USB-C and not Lightning anymore (and you get a 20W charger in the box).

The Apple tablet has the identical footprint as its predecessor, but since of the smaller bezels it now has a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 2360×1640 resolution. TouchID is consistent into the new, top-mounted power button.

The new iPad Air is powered by Apple’s new A14 Bionic chipset, which is also expectable to feature in the upcoming iPhone 12 family when it launches later this year. The A14 is built on a 5nm process, and it’s the primary in the industry to stimulus that milestone.

It has a 6-core CPU design with two higher concert cores and four excessive competence cores. Performance is upgraded by 40% compared to the previous iPad Air. The GPU is 30% faster.

On the rear there’s the same camera as on the iPad Pro models, a 12MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, support for 4K video recording at 60fps, 240fps slow-mo, and heightened video stabilization. For selfies you get a 7MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video at 60fps.

The Apple tablet has Wi-Fi 6 on board, dual speakers, and patronage for Apple Pencil, which attaches persuasively to the side for pairing, charging, and storage. Apple will also offer a floating keyboard case for it.

The new iPad Air, running iPadOS 14, will be prevailing next month in silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue starting at $599 (Wi-Fi-only) or $729 (Wi-Fi + Cellular) with 64GB of storage. It will also be offered with 256GB storage at $749/$879.

iPad (8th Generation)

The entry-level, eight-generation iPad (2020) now has the A12 Bionic chipset at the wheel, with its 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU.

Otherwise, new iPad tablet is narrowly the same as its predecessor, 10.2-inch display and big bezels included. The worth has stayed the same too, at $329 for the Wi-Fi-only model, and $459 for Wi-Fi + Cellular.

New iPad Air Release Date

At these cheaper prices you’re only receiving 32GB of storage. There’s a 128GB configuration, for $429/$559. Pre-orders start 15th September, 2020, and the 8th gen iPad will be attainable this Friday in silver, space gray, and gold.

Apple-Devices

The Mac Pro will cost $499.91 per month and Pro Display XDR  starts at $416.58 per month. There is an added attraction of 3 percent daily cashback with these purchases on the Apple Card.

There are some other items available under this scheme like the  Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil for 12 months with 0% interest. This may be a way to add sales of these items as consumers do not want to add to the cost of purchasing a high-cost item and put off buying the add ons.

Opt for  Apple Card Monthly Installments at checkout to avail the offer and complete your purchase.  Strangely Apple Watch is not a part of this 0% scheme.

How to buy with Apple Card Monthly Installments:

Select Apple Card Monthly Installments when you check out

Since you already have Apple Card, you’ll skip the application process

Complete your purchase

This financing scheme is available for United States residents only at the moment. The scheme will be rolled out to other countries later.

Apple Phone Products

Currently, Apple is the world’s most highly valued company, with a market capitalization of $1.389 trillion could reach a valuation of $2 trillion in the coming four years, according to a research analyst at Evercore ISI.

A key element in this growth will be  Apple’s growing services and wearable businesses. The analyst expects growth of nearly $60 billion with the expansion of Airpods and Apple Watch. Considering the 0 % interest offer, AirPods and other products are bound to see an uptick.

This brings us to question why Apple Watch was excluded from this offer.

Apple services have seen strong year-over-year growth of 17 per cent with a high revenue of $13.3 billion in the company’s March quarter results this year.

The App Store, Apple Music, Video, cloud services, its App Store search ad business, AppleCare, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus and Apple Card all have shown record returns in the last quarter.

Luca Maestri, Apple’s CFO, confirmed that new services such as Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus and Apple Card are attracting new users with the addition of new content and features and aiding the growth of the overall service.

Apple now has over 515 million paid subscriptions across the services on its platform, up 125 million from a year ago.

The March quarter results of the company showed wearables, Home and Accessories segment record revenue of $6.3 billion, up 23 percent year-over-year.

Apple Watch is finding fresh customers across the world, with over 75 percent of buyers being first time purchasers, according to reports.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook said on Tuesday the Apple Watch is the No. 1 Watch globally. The watch has dominated over traditional brands like Rolex, and other prominent smartwatch makers like Samsung or Misfit. And yet, for many critics, the feat isn’t exactly cause for cheer; the Cupertino company refuses to share Apple Watch sales numbers.

“The Apple Watch is now the number one watch in the world,” Tim Cook told the media event, at the Steve Jobs theatre on Apple’s spaceship campus in Cupertino.

Apple didn’t share any sales numbers for the Apple Watch, as it does for the iPhone and the iPad. Instead, Cook said sales were up fifty percent in the past quarter from a year earlier. In May 2017, at Apple’s earnings call, Cook said something similar. He said Apple’s revenue from wearables – the Apple Watch, AirPods, and Beats headphones – was the size of a Fortune 500 company.

watch_series_3_incoming_two-wrap

It’s still a little hard to digest that the Apple Watch is now the No. 1 watch globally. Thankfully, we know what’s going on in the Swiss watch industry. If the downfall in the Swiss watch industry is the reason the Apple Watch was able to leapfrop as the No. 1 then it’s a matter of concern. You will see why.

A Bad Year for Swiss Watch Industry

Apple doesn’t provide official numbers, so all we have is estimates. Last year, Rolex was the number one watchmaker in the world. The entire Swiss watch industry has been suffering from poor sales globally. The 10% fall in 2016 has swept Rolex specifically. It’s hard to say exactly how much that affected but it’s easy to estimate that Rolex’ lower-end watches, which make up 45% of the company’s customer base, are particularly threatened by high-end wearables like the Apple Watch Hermes. Increased competition from high-end smartwatch makers like Apple and Misfit has overthrown brands like Rolex.

Apple Watch

According to Strategy Analytics, consumers bought 21.1 million smartwatches in 2016. If Apple’s stats are from 2016, it makes sense that the Apple Watch is now the No. 1 watch globally. Early reports say 2017 might be looking better for the Swiss watch industry, but it’s a little early to say. We can only wait until next year to find out if the Apple Watch is able to maintain its position as the No. 1 watch globally.

At the Apple media event on September 12, Apple COO Jeff Williams announced Apple Watch Series 3. The new Apple smartwatch is loaded with improved capabilities including built-in cellular and altimeter. The cellular variant will cost you $399, while the version without cellular will cost you $329. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 3 will open on September 15th, and shipping starts on September 22nd.

Amidst all the excitement surrounding the iPhone 8 launch, Apple fans couldn’t focus as they were eagerly waiting for the 12th of September. Now when the day is here, the anticipation has finally died down. This is mainly because of the fact that a majority of the features have been disclosed through numerous rumors. Due to this, the surprise quotient is lost and people are seeing what they already know. Despite all these drawbacks, Apple Inc. is very proud of this event. One of the major reasons behind this is the fact that the event also celebrated the tenth anniversary of its flagship phone. Along with this, the tech giant considers the event another milestone projecting its success. Especially with the launch of the iPhone X and other much awaited Apple products.

iPhone X being the highlight of the event, it is a given that the company mainly advertised it. Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple proudly stated that the iPhone X along with the Apple Watch is the biggest leap forward for the company. Yes, it’s a fact that the latest iPhone is a fresh change from the usual design of these flagship phones. It has got rid of the fingerprint sensor, home button, as well as audio jack. The entire screen is made of LED now. But this statement by Cook states something more than the technical aspects.

iPhone X
iPhone X being the highlight of the event, it is a given that the company mainly advertised it.

Is the iPhone X a leadership status?

iPhone X comes with an edge-to-edge display and a stainless steel finish which is termed as the biggest leap by Tim Cook. It seems that this statement is a clarification to the speculations that all the iPhones launched till date are quite similar. We can guess that Apple is trying to prove that even it can come up with innovations. This is an attempt to showcase the same.

The current state in the Silicon Valley is such that leaders are giving up their positions. This takes place in case of a negative incident in the organization. When it comes to leadership, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs is a name looked up to for inspiration. Therefore it is really difficult to fill his void and maintain the brand name of the company. In order to prove his efficiency, Tim Cook is using the launch of the iPhone X as a platform. The statement is a clear attempt to show that despite the absence of Jobs, Cook is capable to take the organization forward at a rapid pace.

Apple Event

Here’s another Apple event; you can catch up on everything that you missed, starting from iPhone SE and iPad Pro to the FBI case.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at everything that was introduced and discussed in the recent Apple event in Cupertino.

iPhone SE

iPhone SE clearly looks like iPhone 5s while taking a quick look, but if you keenly observe its features, you have to admit that looks can be deceiving. The company guarantees that this new iPhone is the most powerful 4-inch phone ever and the cheapest one in the iPhone series. Apple has forsaken the bigger-the-better trend and has retraced its steps when launching a scaled-down iPhone in the ‘Loop you in’ event.

Moving to the specifications of the new iPhone: It has overhauled the much-loved design of iPhone 5s and further added the A9 chip to make it more powerful. The 12-megapixel iSight camera is skillful enough to capture incredible photos and 4K videos. And the favorite feature of live photos that got much hype in 6s is also involved in this new iPhone.

The new iPhone works on iOS 9 and will be available for $399 for 16GB and $499 for 64GB. iPhone SE has clearly merged the best of both worlds by merging the features of iPhone 6s and the beloved design of iPhone 5s, that too at a lot cheaper price.

iPad Pro

Now the smaller variant of the iPad Pro will also be available starting from March 31st. The new iPad Pro will have a 9.7-inch retina display, which will make it easily portable with a combination of performance and versatility.

The 9.7 inch iPad Pro uses A9X processor, making it the ultimate PC replacement. It also has True Tone Display, which will automatically adapt the color and intensity of the display to match the light of the environment. Thus, reading will become so natural and comfortable that it will be equivalent to looking at a paper sheet. The most talked about Apple Pencil works incredibly well with this new iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro will be also available in Rose Gold shade, along with the usual Silver, Space Gray, and Gold tones. The price of the new iPad Pro is $599 for 32GB, $749 for 128GB and $899 for the new 256GB variant.

Apple Watch

The Apple event introduced various types of bands for your Apple Watch, which includes: Sport Band, Woven Nylon Band, Milanese Loop Band, Classic Buckle Band, Leather Loop Band, Modern Buckle Band, and Link Bracelet. All of these bands are available in various vibrant colors so that you can choose the band that suits you the most.

Also, in the ‘Loop you in’ event, Apple team declared that the price of the Apple Watch is dropping from $349 to $299.

Carekit

Apple introduced Carekit, a framework that will build apps which will empower people to use data to understand their health. The “Care Cards” will allow people to maintain a to-do list for their health, which will remind them to take medicines and physical therapies whenever required. It will also track user’s goals with the help of their iPhone or Apple Watch.

The inclusion of Symptoms and Measurement Tracker allows users to record feedback about how they feel and how well they are recovering. The Insight Dashboard module will compare a patient’s symptoms against the Care Cards to make sure that user’s treatment is effective. And the Connect module enables users to share their medical data with their doctors.

Apple Pay

Apple’s electronic payment service may finally launch in China as early as the first quarter of 2016.

According to reports, Apple Pay is expected to launch in February. The Cupertino, California, the tech giant has struck deals with China’s four largest state-run banks that will allow Apple Pay users to link their local bank accounts to the mobile payments service.

Apple Pay, which was launched last year in the US and other countries, allows iPhone 6 and later iPhones and Apple Watch owners to pay for products on the go through the wireless technology NFC (near-field communication). An increasing number of banks and retailers in the US have been using the payment service, which has support from all four major US credit cards.

Companies are earnestly pushing mobile payments in the belief that the extra service will build customer loyalty. Apple electronic payment service users could possibly be more likely to retain their iPhones if they can store their payment data and use the device to buy items.

However, Apple electronic payment service will have to be expanded globally to gain more traction, since competitors such as Samsung Pay and Google’s Android Pay start to make their presence known. As the largest potential market in the world, China represents a significant business opportunity for mobile payments systems.

Apple had been trying to reach an agreement with Chinese bank UnionPay, which is the only bank in the country that conducts interbank payments. That monopoly on credit- and debit-card processing effectively locks out MasterCard and Visa.

The company began the discussion with UnionPay in 2014 about using the bank’s network for Apple Pay and had hoped that an agreement would be in place by March, however discussion ultimately fell through.

Since last year, Apple has also been in talks with nearly eight major Chinese banks about adopting Apple Pay. But even those talks haven’t gone well and the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China — expressed no interest in a deal.

A major barrier to expanding Apple Pay into other countries has been the fees it charges to process transactions. In the US, it receives a cut of 15 cents for each $100 Apple Pay transaction. Transaction fees in other Apple Pay markets are considered high for banks in countries such as China and Australia.

Introduced in the US in October 2014, Apple Pay debuted in the UK in July and expanded to Canada and Australia this month.

Apple WatchApple has shared six new 15-second Watch ads aimed at showing off its features. The ads feature bright backgrounds, beautiful people wearing Apple Watches for specific purposes, and pop tunes – all showing off Apple Watch’s fitness and messaging capabilities in addition to Apple Maps and Apple Pay.

All six ads, titled Sing, Date, Train, Cycle, Sprinkle and Ride feature people using Apple Watch’s features that have been available on the device since its release on April 10, 2015.

In Sing, the wearer sends an audio message of a song he’s singing to his girlfriend. Date features actress Lake Bell, who also happens to be the narrator of the iPhone 6s commercial, enjoying a night out and getting regular notifications in the form of light vibration on her wrist via Messages.

The next two ads – Train and Cycle, shows off the Apple Watch’s fitness features. In Train, professional boxer Gennary Gennadyevich Golovkin can be seen checking his heart rate as he air boxes. Cycle showcases a user working out while wearing Apple Watch and using the Activity tracker app to track her progress.

The ad, Sprinkle focuses on Apple Watch’s showcases the Apple Pay feature, Apple’s contactless payment solution. Ride, showcase a wearer asking Siri for directions to a destination she is heading to.

Watch any of the Apple Watch ad, and you’ll agree that it’s a brilliant concept of putting together pop colors in a unique fashionable tone, each character within each of the 15 seconds timeframe moving along a brilliant story, featuring key functionality in a blip. The key focus is on the wearer using the Apple Watch, and not just the abstract product. A little eccentric – the Apple Watch ad still puts the message across in a clear, concise, and free of distraction way. It’s like watching a Vogue magazine in live-action!

Though, the new Apple Watch ad is poles apart from its widely successful, aesthetic ads, “Think Different”, showcasing montages of iconic figures. The first rule of the “Think Different” campaign was that there would be no products in the ads. The 2015 Apple Watch ads, not only showcase products but also elaborate its key features in the 15-second timeframe.

‘Think Different” celebrates the soul of the Apple brand—that creative people with passion can change the world for the better,’’ Jobs told during an interview with the Wall Street Journal Europe in April 1998.

Apple is aggressively pushing for Watch just after announcing new Apple Watch Sport colors and accessories in September 2015. It started sales of special Hermes Watch editions and official “Made for Watch” band lugs to third- party accessory makers.

Apple has now ventured into a competitive edge of the wearable gadgets, beating its rival, such as Fitbit.

According to a new market survey, the new Apple Watch sales have slumped by 90 per cent, since, the opening week – the fourth week of April. According to data presented by a California-based Slice Intelligence, Apple is selling nearly 20,000 watches per day in the US, since its mega launch in the month of April. Slice estimated that when Apple sold nearly 1.51 million watches, since then, it had a sharp decline from that week of its launch. The sales went for an average of about 200,000 units per day.

Besides, 66 per cent of the watches sold so far have been earning less profit, whose price begins at $349, as per Slice Intelligence reports, as compared to the more advanced and costlier models that were priced at $549. Slice asserted that in a driven offer for the luxury market, Apple likewise revealed a gold edition model, priced at $10,000 or more. In this way, at most 2,000 of models have been sold in the US.

Slice focused on its research in accordance to electronic receipts sent to a large number of email addresses following purchases. The company conducted a market survey in the interest of consumer-goods companies, among others, a large portion of them in the Fortune 500. Apple, in the past has overhauled Wall Street on the sales of its new items soon after the launch of its Apple Watch. The company has declined to disclose any numbers about the sold units.

Still, the numbers are stressing for Apple’s investors, and customers: Where, on one hand, the experts would expect sales of any new product to plunge, after the initial bump of the product, and on another side, a stock-research company – Trefis allots only 4 per cent of Apple’s current earnings to its watch business. If the company confirms this fall-of sales, it regardless looks gloomy. The Apple Watch business is more important, as compared to any quick investments recommended by the financial experts.

The Apple Watch is the first completely new product manufactured by the Company, since the launch of the iPhone, and has been successful till date. The success of the new product can be measured based on assumption that how well Apple is able to maintain the standards of its excellent innovation, production, and marketing. The financial investors are accustomed to seeing new products, like, iPad, and the iPhone that have taken off the racks, when they were introduced by Apple.

With the launch of the new Apple Watch, the company has stepped into the world of wearable technology that is anticipated to offer a high jump in product sales for Apple, and its rivals in the coming years.

The present market scenario has become challenging for investors, and they have to be careful in making further investment deals for the company. Also, Apple has now ventured into a competitive edge of the wearable gadgets, beating its rival, such as Fitbit – a popular marker of health monitoring wearable gadgets.
